Our centre proudly offers a kindergarten/preschool program to ensure your child is supported for their transition to school every step of the way. With a focus on language, literacy, numeracy, social skills and more your child will become school ready.

How long have you been working in early education?

I have been working in early education since 2008.

What is your favourite part of working at the centre?

I love being a part of a team who are inspirational and have become a family. I love that we can call ourselves a family unit and that the children and families are a part of that as well.

What qualifications do you hold?

I currently hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Degree.

What are you most proud of at your centre?

I am most proud of the outstanding effort and dedication that my staff put into the service each and every day. It is this passion for teaching that enables the children the best possible care while in their early years.

What inspired you to become an educator?

I have always had a passion for children and education. I love being able to teach children in their early years how to grow and develop and be the best person that they can be. It is amazing to see their milestones and watch their friendships form with both their peers and their educators.

What is one of your hobbies?

I love to travel and be with family and friends. When I come back to work I love sharing the world with the children and teaching them all of the things I have seen and learnt along the way.

What message would you like to tell parents considering your centre?

Creative Garden Mount Annan is amazing service to be a part of.  We strive for building the relationships with you and your children upon arrival at our service and then moving those relationships into the classrooms. We are a wonderful team of educators with over 150 years of experiences within the sector with many of our staff being here for over 10 years. “One year ago I was faced with what most parents face with their first child-finding a suitable preschool and from the moment I walked into Creative Garden I had a gut feeling from the staff who warmly welcomed me and showed me around. I was recommended by a neighbour and I must say I am very pleased my son is in a safe place where he continues to grow and develop and more so he loves going to school. This in turn is a result of a great centre made up of staff that care and are great at their jobs, great learning tools and techniques and overall I can’t fault anything. As the youngest in a large family I was really concerned that she attend a good quality pre-school that develops her social skills and her own little personality in a nurturing and creative environment.
